Lisa Woite works with video, photography, text, and installation to interweave various influences from literature, myths, popular culture, and private memories into essayistic compositions. After graduating from Berlin University of the Arts with a degree in Fine Arts, she completed a master's degree at Musashino Art University Tokyo, funded by the DAAD. Since 2023 she has been studying there as a MEXT scholarship holder in the doctoral program. Among other places, her work has been shown at the Museum für Fotografie Berlin and the Lichtsicht Projection Triennale.
